Back in November of 2009, both SM Entertainment groups Super Junior and SNSD / Girls’ Generation endorsed clothing for E. Land Group’s clothing label, SPAO. They’ve been working together since on endorsing the brand since then and now they’re back endorsing the upcoming Fall / Winter collection.
SPAO has recently released the 2010 Fall Winter Making / Behind The Scenes film. The themes in the video include Family Hood, Harvard Yale, Best Wool, Star Fit Down, Romantic, Girlish, Friendly, Sporty, Preppy, Biker Leather and more. Many thanks to blueman2 for the tip and check out the video below.
Using idol stars as marketing tools, very ingenious.
As a matter of fact, it works. This is based on the fundamental psychology theory.
When someone sees something that looks good on others, they will start to wonder if they can look as good in them. There's a natural reflex in you. You will want to try it out yourself. Their confidence level will be boosted and they will be daring enough to wear it. Reason being, they themselves have already approved of the clothings and the person endorsing it.
It works both way.
By inviting the mega-stars, Super Junior and SNSD to endorse in their products. It is impossible for them not to look good in those clothings.
They have achieved immense success in that and naturally, all the fans will flock to the store just to take a look at the layout, which is actually filled with the pictures of their idols. It is almost synonymous to entering a shop that is dedicated to your idol!
Perhaps, SNSD and Super Junior can start to open their own shop one day, designing their own accessories, clothes, jeans and so on and so forth.
Whether its of good quality or not, it does not really matter. All it matters is that it is limited and that it is unique. That way, it will seem like you are a star yourself, for you are actually wearing something that is limited in stock, designed by your favourite idol!
