Guardian open journalism: Three Little Pigs advert




We have to give it to Guardian for sure.


They managed to make this news reporting so interactive and relatable by using the iconic 3 Little Pigs and the Big bad wolf.


As we all know, the New Media is becoming more interactive and 2-way today. We are no longer receiving news from one end anymore. We are supplying news ourselves. Its all about the whole package today, the experience you receive by reading news.


The above video showed the cons of providing news, i.e. the 3 little pigs were caught. But at the same time, you see the mass public tweeting, and publishing their own posts on what they felt about the arrest of the 3 little pigs.


Also, they related the pigs' intent to insurance fraud in an attempt to pay off their mortgage loans which was the burning issue of the subprime mortgage crisis.


Its really not easy to package so many things in one advertisement and I thought Guardian did a phenomenal job at it. So props to them !
