Family Outing is a show which I'm watching consistently.
It's a really heart-warming show. Initially, the family members are all top stars in the acting scene, movie scene, and in the singing industry along with the entertainment industry.
However, they all cast aside their charismatic side and lose their suaveness just to provide entertainment to the public. In the end, it became the top rated show in Korea.
I finally understand the meaning behind the show's name "Family Outing".
They really bond together as a family. They meet once a week for filming but their relationships are real. They care for each other and shower concern over one another. They made fun of each other every time but when they fall, the others help him up.
When one cries, the other wipe away his/her tears. When one make a joke, they all laugh.
In the show, there's this 2 person, one who is named Chunderalla and the other, Stepmom.
The Stepmom, played by Sooro(a 40-year old movie actor), seems to be bullying Chunderalla, played by Chunhee, all the time. However, in actual fact, he is the one who always take care of Chun Hee.
Though the stepmom scolds Chunderalla and orders him around all the time, Chunderalla did not utter a single word of complaint right from the start. He did not lose his temper. Instead, he did whatever he was told to do right from the start.
There was one episode where they had to stir the red bean paste till 2AM. After rounds of scissors, paper, stone, it was decided that the stepmom will do the job.
After everyone went to sleep at around 12am or so, Chunderalla came out of the room to accompany the stepmom. It was really a very touching scene.
He told the stepmom that since he can't sleep, he will help out. But I believed that in actual fact, he didn't want the stepmom to do it alone.
Deep inside, he has a really good heart even though he's always being bullied in the show.
Do watch the show if you are interested to unveal the many characters in the show.
Even though they are very famous, they are all very fun and humble. It's good to see that side of them once in a while. Very real and heartwarming
